Went to Marina Bay Sands Singapore last night!

The Sands Skypark just amazing, omgggggggggg. And the skypark pool is like, WOAH. It looks like you can totally fall off the pool and over the edge of the building. Swimming there would be so cool!

Anyway, had my second open water dive today, and it was great (of course). The first open water dive was a horrible, horrible experience. We happened to go into the sea immediately after a storm, so the visibility was horrendously low. Somehow, my brother and I lost our instructor while we were underwater, so we surfaced. Swam against the current for 45min or so until we were finally rescued on shore. Traumatising much!

But well, the conditions today were much better, so yay to diving! :D And oh, I've passed my diving academic exam! Now time to start studying for MYEs! (ugh)

Hoho, I'm here in the south of Thailand, more specifically Koh Tao! Just finished my first diving academic lesson after a lesson in the pool this morning. Woah, never imagined how cool it is to breathe underwater! It's hard to believe that my whole life rests on the regulators, and how I hang on to dear life with it.

Really excited about going into the sea tmr! First open water session, cant wait can't wait! :D

For now, the mosquitoes are having a feast out here on my brother and I using the internet, how awesome -.= Too bad the only place with internet access is out here in front of the diving centre, so we only use the internet for 30min or so. Ahh, darned mozzies.

To anyone who hasn't started/has barely started on studying, if it helps, I've barely started. =( Plus there's the diving academic test I have to study for! My goodness, so much to memorise - to think I actually brought Bio notes here. =/

Come to think of it, all we see of our friends are probably how they are in school and how crazy we get when we hang out together. Even when friends confide in each other, how much do they actually leave out? And now I'm beginning to wonder how close friends are supposed to be.

Been really busy this week! Match supports, covering for photosoc, lots of things to prepare for drama crew, and meeting up with long-lost friend(s)! But ended the week on a good note with How to Train Your Dragon! :D Such a cute show, hahahaha. I like! Screw the pangseh story.

Tired tired. And I think there's still a need to balance my school life and social life, so what's wrong with going out? JC life in school just revolves around lectures after tutorials after lectures. So obviously I don't talk much to anyone else apart from the people I sit next to during lessons. At least not as much as before. Aren't we supposed to interact with people too? Can't possibly expect me to interact with books/notes all the time. Be reasonable.

Sent Adele off on Saturday, since she's gone off to Sydney. Ahhh, after all these years! What a pity we got to the airport pretty late, didn't exactly have the time to even get a photo with her. But well, at least the rest of us 6D people managed to catch up over dinner! :D

Drama's getting really busy too, and being crew this time is so much slacker! At least I no longer need to act as a tree by holding up a pole for the whole play.

JC life hasn't gotten any better. The projects are as fun as those in IP, even though there were many more back then. Seriously, although I complained, I kinda had fun. As for now, I just try to get them done and over with, how sad. And that reminds me of the cursed PI. -.=

Just realised that Bridge has amazing therapeutic properties. Saved me from a really awful day today.

I am going to flunk econs test. =( My tutor's going to think I'm an econs-idiot. Oh well, it's time to buck upppppppp. =( And to top it all off, my GC's spoilt. It died during econs test and is permanently dead now. What a bummer.

And anyway, Paz suddenly appeared home today. He seriously popped out of nowhere! HAHAHA, how amusing. Now it feels kinda weird hearing a deep deeeeep voice at home! And plus, the house has gotten slightly noisier (or less quiet, since it's not exactly noisy)! I've long spread my territory into my brother's room, which now renders him a hobo at home =) It's not my fault, really. My own room's way too crammed and the table's too small (and there's this huge pile of mess which I can never bring myself to start clearing). Never mind, cheers to the spirit of sharing (our rooms :D).

With my brother back, my lifestyle at home can get a bit more active, since I'd have a swimming/running/wave-boarding buddy :D And oh, Paz brought back this vitamin energy drink, and apparently it keeps you VERY awake for the whole day! Sounds too good to be true, but I'll try it anyhow. Awesome, now I'd be able to survive my last week of school - especially my oh-so-dreaded Thursday!

Ahhh, another good thing's that I have someone to finish up my food for me! :D And there's nicer food on the table too! Worth all the annoyance that comes with it all, eh. =)

Yet another new month of the year! Maybe it's just me, but time is passing by so quickly! Like, nearly a whole term has gone by. Then again, it's probably because everyone's so darn busy.

If I put on more weight, I shall blame everything on the lessons in school. I'm not targeting any subject in particular, but surely, snacking during every single lesson can't be good, but at least it helps me stay awake - like sneak-eating Oheya! in tutorials and lectures. And my bag has now been transformed into a bag of snacks, loaded with cookies and all sorts of strange sweets that somehow can't be found in Singapore. Seriously, the excessive intake of sweets is so going to take a toll on me soon. =/

Work's piling up and I still haven't kicked the habit of slacking. At least I bother putting in the effort to do tutorials and all! :D

But well, apart from academic work, I'm really kind of freeeeeeeeee! Okay, not a very good thing to be too free, it just feels awfully weird to not have "trainings" or "project meetings" late after school anymore.

Lessons have started, and I do not like them. Getting back on track really requires some getting used to, and damn it's so different having to walk around the whole school for different lessons. Once again, I miss having a classroom. =(

As for my class, it's just different, I guess. I barely know anything about my classmates, it already took me long enough to match names to every face in class. But well, I sure hope we start getting to know each other better soon.

There's nothing much to prepare for tomorrow since it's mostly CNY celebrations for the whole day, so I have some time to spare! :D First week of lessons and I'm already dead beattttt. It's crazy to imagine how my attention span can ever last the full 2 periods of any lecture! Totally reminds me of how I'd just drift off during lessons last year, like how I started playing with the VJ bear during LA. And hey, those were pretty engaging lessons, mind you. Plus, it's really pretty sad how projects in JC make up less than 10% of our grades now, it used to be like, 30%!

Oh and how could I forget! Had dinner with Liesl, Andrew, Sakif and Rohan, and Nathan treated us! :D Hoho, yay to awesome food and a great time!

Ahh, it's that time of the year again, when I get to catch up on plenty of much needed sleep, and snack on love letters, or whatever the roll roll things are called - the only new year goodies I have at home.

Met my new class yesterday, and oh well although they're not the same as 08v11, I sure hope we'll make a great class by the end of J2. =) I should count myself lucky that I'm in a pretty decent class (well, as compared to many others), but I'm sure everyone will get to know their own class better soon enough!

And dinner at Pizza Hut tonight was good. =) Thanks to Alvin for the treat! Probably one of the last outings together as a class, and the turn out was surprisingly good =) Ahhh dang, should have taken a photo together!

Orientation's been super draining and all, and hopefully mass dance ends orientation off with a blast tomorrow! And sea sports carnival tooooooo! :D Fun fun fun

It finally struck me that IP has really ended. Ahhh. It wasn't until "the last hour" in the LT, that everyone finally realised so. Unlike the end of last year, when I believed that we'd still have a month together a cohort of IP3s, this is the time when we really say our farewells. And that's probably why everyone started rushing for the microphone. It's like going back to reality, in a sense, after 2 awesome years.

Seems so pathetic to keep whining that IP's over, but where else do you find such a special bunch? I'd miss those times I spend roaming around on the 3rd floor of the T-block after school, peeking into the door of any other class, the joy of knowing everyone in the cohort and ahhh the comfort of T31. Although I hate to say it, I miss losing sleep over project works already. Can't believe we actually complained so much while in IP, and now that we're out, it's just unbelievable that time has passed by so quickly.

Such great classmates, floorballers, PSLs - at least we'd still see each other around in school. =)

Back from Turkey! :D

Hoho, so much fun! Everything in Turkey went great - except the food. Yeah, I know I shouldn't be complaining, but well, we somehow ate the same thing everyday. Imagine grilled mackerel for nearly every lunch AND dinner in 6 days or so. But well, other than that, it was an enriching and definitely enjoyable trip!

We were greeted by the first snow in Cappadocia! And yes, we first-snowed (stuff snow at each other :D) Was a pleasant surprise, since I didn't expect it to snow! To think I wasn't actually planning to bring my coat along.

And super grand palaces of the Ottoman Empire - hands on history lessons :D

and getting our feet frozen! :D

Went on the hot air balloons to see views of mountains topped with fresh snow,

and had the chance to get ourselves stuck in caves of solidified lava.

And incredible rock formations.

That basically sums the trip up, I guess =).

Had an encounter of a lifetime today. We were on our way to send my brother off to the airport for his flight back to USA - and it was just 2hours before the flight when we left the house. Then, the car started flickering warning signs of a faulty engine on the LCD screen. And then, the car stalled in the middle of the highway to the airport. HAHAHA, imagine being stuck in the middle of a busy highway, and how terribly worried my brother got - being on the highway meant that it was nearly impossible to hail a cab to get to the airport.

Heehoo, thank goodness this taxi driver still stopped to pick us up and my brother didn't miss his flight =).
Nothing's getting any better, everything just gets worse with every new year.

I'm back from the land of fast food, Chinese take-outs, super friendly waitresses and the world's best hot chocolate.

It was a pretty good trip, apart from the fact that I didn't get the chance to see any snow at all =( Weather forcasts says it'll only start snowing over there on this coming weekend, I bet the snow's just trying to avoid me, to avoid getting squished into snowballs by me or something -.=

Anyway, good thing we caught Black Friday this year! Oh plus, now my luggage are all packed with ang moh snacks! (have yet to unpack =/) Highlight of the trip was probably the Niagara Falls! Too bad we didn't manage to cross over to the Canadian side.

Fell sick on my last day in USA, and having a fever during winter is worse than you can imagine. It's cold, and colder -.= And getting squashed in the airplane seat with a cold is pure torture. So yes, yet another arduous flight.

But I just have to comment, I think ANA is such a great airline! :D Their air stewardesses are sooooooo cute! :D They practically smile 24/7, and the bow all the time - even before sitting down prior to take off. HAHAHA, just so cute! Plus they transit at Japan, which definitely makes up for the fact that it's not a direct flight! =D

So that basically sums up my whole trip!

And we make a pretty decent err, band, eh =)

Heyho! Short update from US before I go to sleep!

Gah, got our bags rummaged through at the US customs today, and it sure wasn't any fun =/. So much for having the integrity to declare the instant noodles that we brought over for my brother. The customs officer was checking the instant noodles to see if it's fine for us to bring it in, and boom, he discovers a packet of instant porridge from our previous trip which we forgot to take out from the luggage - and thus didn't declare.

He probably got mad that we didn't declare stuffs, so he started checking every single baggage. And by checking, I mean emptying the contents of every bag, right there at the airport. Damn. He didn't even put the stuffs back neatly, just threw everything back in -.=

Oh, and he took Po out! Luckily he didn't cut her open, like what my parents said he would! =)

But wheee, other than that, it was a gooooood, 24-hours-long trip! =)

I'VE SUCCESSFULLY SMUGGLED PO UP THE PLANE! :D

Po made it through all the thorough baggage checks and x-ray machines and is now stuffed in my carry-on bag! :D We're now camping in the Star Alliance lounge in Japan's Narita Airport.

And I hope my bulging back doesn't raise any suspicions at New York's JFK airport when we get there!

IP2 prom last night was great! (And so was post-prom!) Was really nice to see the girls in dresses and the guys in such formal attires!

Thanks to the prom comm, all those who performed and everyone there for making the night so memorable =). Post-prom was spent selling away our _ tickets, since it was so darn crowded that we couldn't get into _. But well, what an experience to be there, see the crowd of desperate people trying to get in and all! :D So we all ended up watching movies in the hotel all night, wheee!

And the day after prom was spent catching up on my sleep after getting home, hoho!

Lunch with Janice and Joanne at Kallang Leisure today, and I finally got new earphones ;D

With that, I'll be making my way to the airport soon! Okay, not so soon, since it's a night flight, but yes I'll be on my way to USA ;D

Looks like I haven't posted in a long long time!

But anyway, I guess I haven't even said this but, CHINESE IS OVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR! (Okay super lag, but I told myself I'd write that after I finish HCL Os, soooo couldn't possibly leave it out!)

IP has come to an end (not counting Monday's prom), and 08v11 is no longer existent. =( Ahh it really is kind of sad. Next year, we're all moving on, we'll all be put into new classes, and we'd be re-orientated into the college, as J1s. Well being a VJ student sure would be different next year. I don't know how to say it, but it'd be weirdddd.

Guess I'd miss lots of things from IP. (I actually typed a whole chunk of things I'd miss, then decided they're probably too personal.) Yes there have been horrifying experiences that I wouldn't want to go through again (like oh, the late nights), but I'd definitely remember all those too!

Today's symposium was sort of the "closing ceremony" for our first 2 years in IP. Probably not the best way to end off, but well. It's been a good 2 years =). Oh the memories!

SCIENTIFIC EXPERTS from around the world are predicting that 3 years from now, all life on Earth could well come to an end. Some are saying it'll be humans that would set it off. Others believe that a natural phenomenon will be the cause. And the religious folks are saying it'll be God himself who would press the stop button.. The following are some likely arguments as to why the world would end by the year 2012.

Reason one: Mayan calendar

The first to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a bloodthirsty race that were good at two things -- building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and sacrificing virgins.

Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it's likely they've got the end of the world right as well.

Reason two: Sun storms

Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery. Our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic and it's supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the earth with lot of radiation energy. It's been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse and calculations suggest it'll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012.

Reason three: The atom smasher

Scientists in Europe have been building the world's largest particle accelerator. Basically, it's a 27 km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it's properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They're predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.

Reason four: The Bible says it

If having scientists warning us about the end of the world isn't bad enough; religious folks are getting in on the act as well. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between good an evil, has been set for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese Book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.

Reason five: Super volcano

Yellowstone National Park in United States is famous for its thermal springs and old faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple -- it's sitting on top of the world's biggest volcano and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we're many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

Reason six: The physicists

This one's case of bog -- simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berkely University have been crunching the numbers.
They've determined that the earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they're claiming that their calculations prove that we're all going to die, very soon. They are also saying that their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 per cent; and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.

Reason seven: Earth's magnetic field

We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that shields us from most of the sun's radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call North and South have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so -- and right now we're about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30 kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is under way, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

Hohum, inV!gorate. 2 down, 1 more to go. I guess we're all pretty damn tired, and so yes of course I deserved my 12 hours of sleep =). (Yes, I slept so much that the headache's gone away.)

Every class has gotten so competitive. So much so that inV!gorate has somehow turned into an event where hard feelings are cultivated between the classes. Oh man, is it worth all the anger, frustration and swearing, just to maintain (or break) the legacy?

Despite how unhappy we all may be when referees make bad calls or calls that are not in favour of our class, let's all just take it as a game. Yes, sometimes we want to fight for our rights, but let's just put all our resentment aside, give our best and just have fun =)

Caught Haeundae: The Deadly Tsunami on Monday for PSL outing. Gosh, what a tragic show!

Oh, vMUN is over. It's been 2 lonnnnnggggggg days, and to be frank, the only things I like about the vMUN are the refreshments after the opening and closing ceremonies. Fair enough, the issues discussed were kind of interesting, but talking about the same issue(s) for the whole day gets kind of boring too.

Training's resumeddddddddddd! Exciting yet dreadful. See what I mean when I say exams are detrimental to our health?! Muggers (like myself =)) sit and mug all day, stuffing ourselves with snacks and sweets to stay awake. It really can't be helped that we grow fatter and become very very unfit. =( Hoho but never mind, that's what floorball trainings are for, I guess =).

But gah, the post exams program timetable looks awfully depressing, what with HCL trial exams. And oh of course, the real thing - HCL O levels. Ahh shucks, how can our post exams life be so packed!

Well it's inV!gorate tomorrow and I sure am looking forward to it! At least it beats getting back papers or something!

Anyway, Get Real! week was great! Really wayyyyy above my expectations of working at Hong Kah Town Council. Hoho, learnt a lot from the 5 days attachment there, and definitely had LOTS OF FUN! The people working there were just great, and super duper friendly! I guess that's what made our attachment so much fun!

So job attachment at Hong Kah Town Council includes replying emails (feedbacks, or complains, to be exact), doing door-to-door surveys and surveys at MRT stations, following cool people around to inspect different estate, seeing the suction system of the refuse chute at Choa Chu Kang, keying in survey data, and most importantly, NEW YORK NEW YORK TREAT! :D

And we bought them lots of chocs and made them a card before leaving ;D What nice people we are, eh! =)

WE ARE FUN! :D

Oh then class outing on Friday after a whole week of work. Seriously, those who were paid should treat your poor friends! But well, dinner was at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao (gosh long name), and caught Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! Yay good food, nice show! =D

"Class outing" at Jurong Water Park today!

After waiting for the lateeeeeeee people, finally got into the pool and all, only to get chased out by the evil lifeguards because we aren't allowed to wear t-shirts in the pool! >=( How ahhhnoying. So Kaien and Fiona left, while Benny and I stayed. =(

But well, the water slides, wave pool and the countless rounds around the lazy river were funnnn! :D Plus, you get free entertainment by watching the guys and their ever-so-childish acts. What a pity we didn't get a picture in the wave pool!

And now we're a tired bunch!

Gosh look at what's happened to Venice.

Hoho, been going out after exams! And ughhh being forced into dresses by Benny and Kaien, asdfghjkl.

Ion Orchard with Benny and Kaien and met Desiree, Minlin and Una! Una, Kaien and I soon got really tired walking all around orchard road. Gosh, the other 3 sure are hardcore shoppers!

Wednesday started at Vivo with Benny and Kaien, getting waffles from candy empire, looking for jobs at awfully chocolate, and being forced into ridiculous outfits (again)! Then we left for Central for lunch at Waraku!:D

And we went over to Sticky!

Then we travelled to City Hall and met Doria at the MRT station! What a small world ;D Walked around, killing time at MPH, and had dinner at Din Tai Fung! Xiao long baos, ahhhh! =) And we sat there talking crap for so long that we got chased out =(.

And today's failed training turned into an outing at Plaza Sing with Noob and Goob! Evil Boob went for facial, zomg -.= Watched 500 Days Of Summer, and goshhhh, what a lame show -.= And I realised Action City's a great place to kill time! =D

Oh man, study break is here! Ahhh, now the fact that EOYs are really reallyyyyyyyy awfully close is finally hitting me. Oh my holy moly! But well, at least it's time to catch up on sleep before the exams! =)

This week's lessons were pretty strange, somehow, like with most of the lessons spent on going through past years papers. Plus, chasing after different teachers for their signatures on our PEARL cert was really time consuming. And T3As and e-CIP and all the other deadlines crammed into the weekends before the jolly bolly EOYs. -.=

On anger management.

A woman in a grocery store happens to notice an elderly gentleman and his poorly-behaved 3 year-old grandson.

It's obvious to her that the grandpa has his hands full --- with the child screaming for sweets in the sweets aisle; biscuits in the biscuits aisle; same for fruits, cereals and soft drinks in their respective aisles. It is simply hell !

Meanwhile, grandpa is working his way around, saying in a calm, controlled voice, "Easy, William, we won't be long -- easy, boy."

Another outburst, and the woman hears the grandpa gently saying : "It's okay, William, just a couple more minutes and we'll be out of here. Hang in there, boy."

At the check-out, the little terror is throwing items out of the cart, and grandpa again in a controlled voice says : "William, William, relax buddy; don't get upset. We'll be home in five minutes; just stay cool, William."

Very impressed, the woman goes outside where grandpa is loading his groceries and the naughty boy into the car.

"You know, sir, it's none of my business, but you were amazing in there. I don't know how you did it. That whole time, you kept your composure, and no matter how loud and disruptive the child got, you just calmly kept saying that things would be okay. William is very lucky to have you as his grandpa."

"Thanks, lady," said the elderly, "I'm William -- that little bugger’s name is Dennis."

Well, well, well.

Well term 3 has come and gone! Which means, after the September holidays, there'll only be 10 official school weeks left. Dang, time sure flies. Plus, since EOYs are ever-so-close, this week-long break will probably be dedicated to the Exams-Almighty (yes, I WILL mug =) ).

Oh well, just sent my brother and mum off to the airport. Now I'm left allllll aloneeeee. =/ Yikes, I don't like staying home alone, because firstly, there's no good food! It's even worse to be home alone in the dark! =( But oh well, at least I have the whole house to myself, so I can lie around anywhere to study! :D

HOHO! Sweet sixteenth! =D I'm laolao and a year more matured now! =)

Anyway, today was funnnnnn! =D Spent the whole day out, which means Chinese suyu test tomorrow can go die, but heck. =) It's good to wake up bright and early on my birthday, so I get a longer day today (instead of sleeping till noon ;D). Walking is a great form of exercise, and an alternative to sleeping in!

Rushed over to meet boob and goob at Island Creamery, and I was late! =X But well yes, had Cookies and Cream today (I should remember to think of it as an innocent tub of ice cream instead of a tub of butter), plus a free birthday scoop! Yay to Island Creamery! =D Then, val suddenly walked into Island Creamery and we all were like "OMG O.O"! HAHAHA, what a coincidence! =D

Then went over to Pasir Ris to met Janice! Wanted to go to Escape, but it was raining/drizzling so most rides weren't in operation =/ So we caught Year One at E Hub instead! Hah, the first time I'm rightfully making use of my 16-year-old status to watch an NC-16 movie! =) Now I can show the ticketing booth my IC and give the guy behind the counter a wideeeee grin! Yay, so being laolao has its benefits afterall!

After the movie and neos, Fiona and Val popped into White Sands! Omg, what a surprise (all pre-arranged and I didn't even know! :D) Yay, dinnered at BK, caught up with Val, and thank goodness she didn't manage to force a dress/skirt onto me! ;D

Then went back to TKPS! I'm quite surprised that quite a number of us turned up, even though most of the people are in the midst of their prelims and all =) And Mr Njoo remembers me, how creepy, he's never taught me before, I think o.o Hoho, played hopscotch while waiting for the rest, ahh the good ol' days ;D

Then went over to parkway with 6D people for lunch, and then to Plaza Sing to catch Bandslam! Omg, ridiculously amusing movie man! But okay I admit the storyline's pretty lame and all, but damn it's hella funny!

Say hello to the weekends! =D Sucks to a certain extent, but I sure appreciate the break (and extra sleep) for the week =). I'm very very determined to catch up on some sleep since I didn't manage to last weekend, ugh!

Come to think of it, the term's coming to an end, just a few more tests! Then the dreadful EOYS followed by Chinese Os, but after that, life would be justttttttttt great, wouldn't it? =) (I choose to leave out the part about IP coming to and end.)

Oh oh oh, and the stupid lizard encounter on Tuesday was SO EMBARRASING. Boob and I were sitting on the sofa to study math, when this leaf-like thingo glided across the floor. So I looked at the "leaf" wondering how a leaf got into the classroom. THEN I REALISED IT WAS A FREAKING LIZARD, so I jumped out of the sofa and ran out of the class. According to boob, she's never seen me scream like that before, oh well =/. And evil people just stood there and laughing at me go hysterical =(.

Anyway, lotstodolotstodolotstodo! Oh and I've gotttttt to complain! Why does youtube limit their videos to 10min only? Spent 2 days trying to upload our 16min clip for SIP, and finally found out that my video was too long, dang. And I tried to upload the video overnight on Monday night or something. So I left the Firefox window open and my comp on overnight, BUT conveniently switched my internet off. Okay fine, I admit I was retarded, but helllll, what a waste of time.

Hoho, super lag post, but spent the whole of national day during SIP! =( First met Kaien and went around orchard road interviewing people about Singapore politics and catching all their blonde moments on tape =). But gosh, I don't know what youths in Singapore do man, hardly any youths were walking along Orchard Road on a Sunday =/

Then went over to Benny's house to do filming, and we ended up watching NDP and Singapore Idol, and oh not forgetting dinner at Chomp Chomp! :D

The rest of the week's been =/-ish and very very very tiring. Late nights chionging work, pathetic results, tests with stupid mistakes, and a lousy training to end the week. Oh well, at least there was the great thaipan dinner after training. =)

Fun time at Kaien's house with Benny too, singing and highing over NDP songs today! :D Even Una and Minlin came over for our Don't Forget The Lyrics competition on NDP songs, super spastic! Una got really really REALLY high, and started dancing to the MVs! "See the moon and the stars!"

Then we conducted an interview on the 2 of them for our SIP, omg Una's responses are classic, seriously! I had an awfully hard time trying to keep the cam steady while laughing at them! =D

NDP celebrations, waffle stall, CI!

Hahahaha, they shouldn't have released those balloons, what a waste. I could very well make pretty good use of the helium for self entertainment! And I think we made profit from selling waffles, which is great! =D Then stayed in school to do up our CI prototype, and dang, being a cobbler sure isn't easy! Took us so long to come up with a model shoe/shoe cover/shoe bag/whatever we call it ;D. But yay it's done! =D

Then went out with the v13 people to pp, then Suntec and Marina Square. Cinemas had such lousy timings that we ended up camping in front of the cinema for a really long time without watching anything in the end!

Oh great, Helmsman week is over, and I still have no clue about what career path I'm gonna take. I don't really see the use of getting people with strange job to talk to us about their life. I mean, how many of us would actually end up as a magician/cartoonist? =X Nevermind, most of the talks were quite interesting anyway. ~~Except for the one that totally ruined my day. -.=~~

And gah, subject combination! Now I'm even more confused about what to take, and I just can't decide. Ahhhhh.

Chinese test tomorrow. Oh I hate going for tests with such a negative attitude, but how can I look forward to a test that I'm bound to fail? Eee.

Wheee, blogger finally looks normal! Helmsman week has been rather strange, it's like there's so much work to do but there're no lessons. =/ Anyway, today's talk was really funny! Ahh, why can't there be more of such entertaining speakers? And the Helmsman center is a really comfy place to sleep! ;D

Careers fair with lots and lots of freebies today! Hahaha! And IP floorball photoshoot and friendly against staffs too! Omg, teachers are super fit man! =X

Shucks, blogger still looks terrible. Gah, wanted to post photos but the template now looks so screwed up, I shan't waste my time =X

Anyway, yesterday was Homecoming Dinner! Ahhh, GOH table people were super stressed, cos the guests were supposed to arrive at 6+ or so, and we didn't have all the utensils ready when it was nearly 6! But still, no major screw ups, and it was a great experience eh! =D And did I mention that the table was hugeeeeee? Was really really really tired after serving, then the concert started getting crazy and all, with the vj students all jumping/highing in front of the stage! And I was too tired to join in, ohhhh well! At least we got to kope Bakerzin stuffs ;D

Oh oh oh, and we got our payyyyy, hahaha! My first paycheck =DDD

Then went over to Jumbo at NSRCC today for lunch! It was realy funny to know most of the waiters there and all! They kept asking me how yesterday went and stuff =).

And I really like Sumiko Tan's "Does crying ever solve anything?" in today's Lifestyle. So meaningful =)

... allow yourself a good cry because it is only human and okay to be sad, then pick yourself up and get a move on.

There's not other way, really, if you want to preserve your own sanity, dignity and well-being.

Okay great, the blogger template's currently super screwed up, awful.

Anywayyyyy, caught Harry Potter with Noob and Goob today! :D HAHAHA, super spastic sneaking pizza in and all! Halfway through, Kaien and I got so cold we spastically took our uniforms out to use as jackets -.= Too much talking, too little fighting in the movie, and Kaien fell asleep, while Huiying was busy explaining the plot to me! hahaha!

And Kaien left her Elmer pouch in the cinema! Had to run back to get it, and thank goodness some guy there found it! =D

Oh oh, and made a trip to ice cream chef ytd, with the squares! HAHA! But I must say Island Creamery's still super nice, especially with their unlimited Horlicks and Milo powder ;D Did SIP there, and I must say, we sure are productive people! :D

It's been a busy busy week!

Especially with the waiter trainings and IH test! But at least IH test is over, I'm so going to die for LA!

And waiter trainings have been really tiring! Been ending up home too lazy to do any work, everyday this week. Best part was the dinner we had yesterday! =D Ate really awesome food, including chilli crabbbbbbbbbbb! =D hoho, and we were like, half waiter-ing, half eating, which got really spas cos I went over to serve the teachers' table in my bib! =/

And today was the job attachment part! I had to freaking BUN UP MY HAIR, pfft! Woah, being a waitress is super draining, really, but at least we get an allowance :D Yeah man, my first paycheck tmr, HAHAHA. But really, standing around for a few hours in court shoes isn't really all that fun! Plus, my court shoes are pathetic! I keep slipping whenever I walk into the kitchen! Man, terrible soles to top the heels off, great. =X

Still, was pretty fun walking around, balancing heavy trays with the constant fear of dropping the plates and bowls and setting up impressive tables! Seriously we've set up the tables so many times that it's nearly like second nature alr =X

And one of the customers noticed that I wasn't one of the typical staffs, hopefully not because I was doing an awful job! But he was super amused that a student from VJ was on a job attachment as a waitress, I think! And we all finally knocked off at 9.30 or so ;D

So took the shuttle bus to tanah merah, and we spastically took a picture there. I think the girl who snapped the photo for us must have thought we were retarded. Like who ever takes photos at an mrt bus stop? =X But well yes, the tired tired people. =)

Okay, somehow my camera can't do macro zooms, but my phone died =(. Hell, now I'm using a pretty strange phone, and it's so hard to type msges and everything else! Even my contacts don't show, hmph! Possibly, the only cool thing about the phone is that I can watch TV with it, HAHAHA! =D
I'm sick of raising my hopes up everytime, only to get them all crushed time and time again.

Whee, I LOVE GOOD FOOD! =D And these 2 days have been spammed with good good food! =)

Was at Intercontinental yesterday for Chinese food, and had some buffet at Crowne Plaza today! =DDDD Apparently a primary school friend was there too! o.o Got his sms that read "I see you." and I didn't actually see anyone. =/ Afterwards, rushed over to Marina Square anddd,

Watched Drag Me To Hell, and my goodness, I'm not going to watch a horror movie again. =X Fiona, Karen and I were so freaked out during the show that we just decided to scoot out to buy nachos and cheesy pasta to eat during the scary scenes. =X And val was screaming super loudly, omg! But yes, we had fun, although I doubt I'd be able to sleep tonight. =(

Today wasn't exactly a lucky day for me =/ HAHA.

Firstly, there was physical test, gah! (to think it was nearly shifted to next week, ahh!) Plus, the test was taken at CCAB, under the HOT HOT sunnnnnn. Omg, I'm red and sunburnt o.o Thank goodness it's not as bad as orientation, but the first thing I heard today when I got home was "Eh, how come you become tanner than your brother alr?" Ahhhhh.

And, I left my bottle at the grandstand at CCAB! So the people put it into the ball bag, and when I went out to get it, I ended up having to take the whole ball bag home, booo! =( Oh, and I think all our hands are full of blisters now, because of the evil hanging pullups which just tests how much of a lizard one is! =( =( And the beep test was tiringgggg.

Oh, and who in the right mind goes to school on a Saturday and stays there until 5, when there's no training?! HAHAHA, but anyway, we finally got our super cool oil rig to float properly! :D and we used kid's floats to get the whole thing to float, but that isn't exactly the point. It's finally pretty stable, and it moves quite quickly okay! :D Plus, it's so aesthetically appealing, with the bright floats and all ;D

And the last thing that proves that today just isn't my day, is that I got all wet by the fountain. argh, yea the filthy fountain water!

Ahhh anyway, enough of ranting, I'm feeling really accomplished since our oil rig turned out so good =) Hopefully we don't get disqualified though =X

Ahh, dang, why must oil rigs be so complicated? Spent the whole afternoon after school building our oil rig and trying to get it to float in the school's fountain. And we kinda failed pretty miserably, argh. So hard to get the whole chunk of nonsense to float, BALANCED on the water. Our oil rig either had the front of the back dipping into the water, pfft. -.= And we went scavenging for weights to add as a drag, but our school really has nothing but rocks =X

AND! I had a TERRIBLY HORRIFYING encounter with an evil lizard! it appeared out of nowhere, argh, stupid things. After trying to stabilize the our toppling oil rig model, we decided to go get more materials and go back to school and work on it tmr =(

Then kaien and i started doing super spastic things, like moving around a pillar while hugging it, walking up and down the car park, saluting in front of empty flag poles and challenging each other on who can finish their juice faster, where we ended up choking, and kaien's juice went up her nose! =D

Oh come on, go oil rig! ~~I'm a sore loser, I know. =/~~

I just got back from some really nice nice dinner! =) Went for this Dinnertalk with dad, and did i mention that the food was great? =D and this guy kept pouring wine into my glass, which made me drink A LOT =X like really, i think i drank more than dad! o.o haha, thank goodness we're not living in US, or he'd be put to jail for serving underaged kids with alcohol o.o

well the chinese test made me super sian after school, but running with goob helps to de-stress! ;D ahhhh but i still missed ben&jerry's =/ nvm, shall wait for next year's free cone day =) YAY!

hoho, kaien came over today =) did quite a bit of econs, ahahaha! and went swimming! oh, and we went into the sauna too, and it was super amusing how we nearly burnt ourselves inside, till it got so intolerable we just rushed out of the sauna room, HAHAHA.
